Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk: Tyson Fury predicts winner of heavyweight fight

World Boxing Champion, WBC, heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has backed British boxer, Anthony Joshua, to beat Ukrainian fighter, Oleksandr Usyk, when both boxers clash in a heavyweight title fight.

Joshua will defend his World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organisation heavyweight titles against Usyk on September 25.

The fight will take place in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

'This guy Usyk is no mug', Fury was quoted by Daily Mail as saying ahead of the fight on Saturday.

'Joshua’s in a tough fight. Do I want him to win? Definitely. Because me beating up Usyk doesn’t make as much sense or as much money as me beating up Joshua in the big fights everyone wants to see'.

Fury added: 'I watch all the big boxing matches. Every single one that happens. Of course, I would be watching a heavyweight championship fight. This one is for sure. Hoping this body-builder doesn’t lose'.

Meanwhile, Joshua is set to fight Fury later this year after both boxers finally signed off on the first of their two heavyweight blockbusters back in March.

The venue and date for the heavyweight fight are yet to be officially confirmed.
